Understanding the weights and lengths of lash extensions is an important first step in every single lash application.

1. EYELASH EXTENSION WEIGHTS

The length and thickness of the client's natural lashes determine the weight of the extension you can apply. To preserve the health and integrity of the client's natural lashes, it is your responsibility to select the proper weights for each natural lash. Over time, using hefty extensions will undoubtedly weigh down, break, and harm natural lashes.

1.1) For thin natural lash

It is advised to utilize 0.10mm-diameter lash extensions on these customers (for Classic). This is the suggested weight for volume fans, or, to put it another way, the safe weight.

1 of 0.10mm = 2D fan of 0.07mm = 4D fan of 0.05mm = 10D fan of 0.03mm.

1.2) For healthy natural lash

This is our suggested fan thickness and diameter for the volume fan for clients whose natural lashes can support the weight of 0.15mm for the classic extension.

1 of 0.15mm = 4-5D fan of 0.07mm = 8D fan of 0.05mm = 19D fan of 0.03mm.

1.3)For thick, strong natural lash

Some clients with thicker natural lashes can take 0.20mm for the classic extension, this is our recommended fan thickness and dimension for the volume fan.

1 lash of 0.20mm = 3D fan of 0.10mm = 8D fan of 0.07mm = 17D fan of 0.05mm = 20D+ fan of 0.03mm.

2.  EYELASH EXTENSION LENGTHS

There are countless lash lengths to choose from for extensions that typically range from lengths 8-20mm. Lash Lengths often range from: Short, Medium, Long, and Very Long.

• Shorter than 8 - 9:Short (Very Natural, typically for inner corner lengths)

• 10 - 12: Medium (Natural Mascara Look)

• 13 - 14: Long (Long for a little extra)

• 15 and Above:Very Long (Dramatic)

The way to choose the length includes the following factors:

• Eye Shape: Eyes come in all shapes and sizes depending on the person, so the choice of eyelash length on each eye will be different.
• Your personal preference: What style of eyelash extensions do you like? Natural, daramatic or sweet….?
• Your natural lash's ability to support the weight: This is very important to maintain your natural eyelash health so that it won't be damaged in the long run...
• Length of Your Natural Eyelashes: For instance, people with naturally long lashes could consider a length of 12 or 13, whilst others with shorter lashes might consider 10 or 11 to be ideal.
